In November 2016 we joined Marion – MaVo Tier- und Naturfoto – on a trip to Haines, Alaska to photograph the bald eagles. We found many of them in the Alaska Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve where they congregate in the fall around the flats of the Chilkat river.
In 2014 we joined the Squiver group for a photo trip in Japan. Highlights of the tour were the snow monkeys in Nagano (Jigokudani Monkey Park) and the red-crowned cranes, the whooper swans and the stellar eagles on the island of Hokkaido.
In 2013 and 2014 we visited Lower Zambezi National Park during a Squiver tour. The first year we also went to photograph the famous Victoria Waterfalls, both from the Zambian and the Zimbabwean side.
